Georgina McDonald

Georgie graduated with a BSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Exeter and completed a Research Masters at the University of York before coming to Bristol. She is currently in her first year of a 4-year Wellcome Trust Dynamic Molecular Cell Biology PhD. Her research uses zebrafish as a model to identify and characterise novel osteo-anabolic drug targets for osteoporosis treatment.

When she isn’t in the lab she is lifting weights in the gym, baking cakes and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
